Let's start this blog off with an esoteric item, Print File 35-7BXW negative pages.

I like the Print File 35-7BXW pages because they hold a whole roll of film (7 strips of 6 35mm negatives or 42 frames total). Sometimes you get extra images out of a 36 exposure roll. I can't proof the entire page on a 81/2" x 11" sheet of paper but it does allow me to store a full roll on one page.

I've started to go through all of my old negatives. Many of them are in old Peterson glassine pages that are turning yellow and drying out. I need about 800 pages to replace the old ones.

Time to go shopping.

The best price seems to be http://www.picturepocket.com/store/pf/pages/35mmneg.html# at $160 per 1000 pages. The shipping is reasonable at $9.42 for UPS ground. Unfortunately it is a Calif company so I have to pay 8.25% sales tax (ouch).

Another option is eBay. A search for "Print File 35-7BXW" shows a "buy it now" seller at $16.95 for 100 pages with a $5 shipping charge. Not bad for 100 pages at a time. Of course all "buyer beware" cautions need to be heeded.

I hope this info helps you out there. It is not the kind of product that price search sites follows.
